Double action side feed airbrush.

Iwata Pistol Grip Moisture Filter
Iwata Super Lube
Exclusive Metal Case

For the elite professional who demands precise and accurate control of very detailed spraying, this Custom Micron Series brush is built to be the “best of the best,” hand-tested and adjusted by the world’s leading airbrush technicians. Special machining processes along with the meticulous hand-fitting of the parts create an airbrush with superb atomization and incredible control. By removing the crown cap and nozzle cap, this airbrush will spray an entire range of stipple effects, from very fine to coarse textures.

Because it is side-fed, a view directly over the top of the airbrush allows for up-close, fine detail work

For larger artwork, the Custom Micron versatility is enhanced by an optional 1/4 oz. (7 ml) side-feed cup, 1/2 oz. (14 ml) gravity-feed cup or a 1 oz. (28 ml) siphon bottle

Paint Reservoir: 1/8 oz. (3.8 ml) Side-Feed Cup

Nozzle: 0.18-mm Matched Head System

Trigger Action: Dual-Action

Spray Pattern: Micro-Line to 3/4 in. (20-mm) Round

My all-time favorite…best of the best. It’s a high-end airbrush, so you’ll pay a little more for it than others, but you won’t be sorry. The detail work possible with a brush like this will blow you away. I like the side cup because it isn’t in the way and I can see over the tip of the brush, and because I can adjust it (so if I need to be upside down to spray something, I can adjust the cup so I don’t dump paint everywhere).

IMHO, there is no better tool for fine detail illustration. You’ll never find me without this absolutely SWEEEEEET airbrush.

Oh…before I forget…the BEST thing about Iwata brushes…they have a wonderful guarantee. If you have a problem with it, give them a call up in Oregon, and they’ll walk you through whether the warranty covers the problem…if the cup falls off or you break a weld anywhere on it…it’s covered for life. They’re awesome and their customer service is fantastic.
